about
HART Initiative, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation created to serve the community through art education, resources, and cultural outreach programs. The purpose of the HART Initiative is to serve the community with diverse educational resources and tools through onsite and online platforms.
In addition to serving the community, HART is a resource center for artists and those who wish to pursue art resources and programs across all art mediums and disciplines for the arts. We connect the needs of the community.
To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other non-profit organizations which fall under the 501(c) (3) section of the internal revenue code and are operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.
At times, per the discretion of the Board of Directors, we may provide internships or volunteer opportunities which shall provide opportunities for involvement in said activities and programs in order to have a greater impact for change.
Our Mission
The Mission of the HART Initiative is to heal the hearts of people through art education and cultural outreach programs. HART serves the community with diverse educational resources and tools through onsite and online platforms.
The HART Initiative will:
Support and promote artists and their work by creating avenues for the public to learn, engage and appreciate art in all its forms.
Be a source of creative exploration for schools, churches, clubs, and organizations who wish to learn the healing power of art.
Work with community organizations such as shelters, veterans groups, boys and girls clubs, rehabilitation organizations, medical facilities, senior citizens’ communities and other nonprofit organizations.
Be an advocate for the arts and how the arts impact the economic development, quality of life and sustainability of communities.
We promote the arts and focus on the following initiatives:

Art education and outreach
Art as a form of therapy
