Meet the Artists – Our HARTisans
Together we serve the community through the healing power of art.
“Hartisans” are artists who represent the essence of Hart. Each artist has been invited to participate based upon merit, creativity, and unique contribution to the community they serve.
The Hart Initiative invites artists to become Hartisans as they and their work embody the mission of Hart. Hartisans are advocates for the arts and serve the community with their art. Each artist’s skillset reflects diverse aspects of the core values of Hart.
join us in the spotlight
The Hart Initiative, Inc. is proud to announce and spotlight our Hartisans, the artists and advocates for the Hart Initiative Inc. The Hartisans are the core of our organization and we value each member as an artist and advocate for the arts on behalf of the Hart Initiative. We are committed to promoting our artists, their artwork, and their services as private teachers or as instructors for the creative programs offered by Hart.
Hart actively promotes our Hartisans as each member becomes an advocate of the Hart mission and vision. We all work together to fulfill the mission and serve the needs of the community.
Each Hartisan will be invited to participate in all of our digital platforms, including our podcast series, YouTube series and Facebook live programs, as we roll these out. We’ll feature local and worldwide artists from our HARTisans and our artists in residency programs (AIR) along with their artwork.
Each member is invited and given the opportunity to volunteer for our events or donate artwork for charitable purposes in exchange for marketing and public relations exposure through Hart.
We will be spotlighting Hartisans and their work throughout the year. This is part of the service delivery promised in the mission and objective of the Hart Initiative Inc. to serve the community.
Hartisans come from all expressive art mediums including dance, photography, sculpture, poetry, spoken-word, short stories, film, abstract painting, modern, ceramics, beading, found-object, recycle art, music, song and interpretive art.
